2024. A new year means new opportunities. Our hope is to see many familiar faces and places while delivering our product and providing our service. If we are fortunate, we will meet some new people as well.
Heacock Hardwoods is still the same customer focused small family run firewood business serving the Greater Omaha / Council Bluffs area as you have come to know in years past. Our varied species of firewood can be use in your fireplace, woodstove, backyard firepit, bonfire, pizza oven, or smoker.
We want to be extremely easy to work with. To that extent, below you will find transparent pricing matrix. In this manner you may select your species, volume, and level of service. Moreover, there will be no high-pressure sales pitch or anyone trying to "upsell" you on a product or service.
As in previous years we do have a couple minor asks of our client base:
- Payment is due upon delivery (Cash, Check, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Gold Bars, or Ferrari's)
- Delivery location needs to be wheelbarrow accessible.
- Please no stairs (seriously, not even one. See above)
- Decks need to be at least 6' 6" if they are being stacked under (I am not the height of a troll)

Drying Philosophy
|
This is our third year of indoor firewood storage. We are extremely fortunate to be able to place 60 cords of firewood out of the elements. Our wood is kept up and off the ground by neatly stacking it in totes. The goal is 20% less in moisture content prior to the wood going out. With that said, it is the responsibility of the customer to order and take delivery of firewood in time to ensure it is seasoned prior to their use.
